IPMAT 2027 Reading Comprehension: How to Improve Your RC Score

Reading Comprehension can be one of the most important parts of Verbal Ability preparation for students targeting IPMAT 2027.

It is not simply a test of how quickly you can read.

What Is Reading Comprehension in IPMAT?

Reading Comprehension involves reading a passage and answering questions based on its content.

The questions can test different skills, including:

Main idea

Argument or viewpoint

Meaning of words in context

Why Do Students Find IPMAT RC Difficult?

Reading a passage and understanding it casually is very different from solving an RC under exam conditions.

How to Read an IPMAT RC Passage

Start With the Overall Argument

As you read, try to understand: What is this passage trying to tell me?

Pay Attention to Transitions

One unfamiliar word does not necessarily mean that you have failed to understand the passage.
