Conducted by the Consortium of NLUs, CLAT is your direct admission gateway to 23 National Law Universities offering 5-year integrated programs.
The exam focuses strictly on skill-based evaluation. Instead of testing prior knowledge, it evaluates your capacity to reason, apply logic to unfamiliar situations, and comprehend complex passages under time pressure.

120 MCQs based on comprehension-heavy passages evaluated for 1 Mark each.
Skill & Application Focused
Focus on reasoning, critical thinking, and logical application over rote learning.
Eligibility
Passed 10+2 (or appearing by March 2026). Minimum 45% marks (Gen/OBC) or 40% (SC/ST).
Subject Weightage
Distribution of the 120 marks across the 5 evaluation verticals.
